Royal YUM Celebrates International Flavors and Cultures in New Restaurant Concept

Denton, TX - Royal YUM, a new restaurant concept in Denton, is set to open soon and promises to bring a unique and exciting dining experience to the local community. Founded by entrepreneur and food enthusiast Suphanee Elzubeir, the restaurant celebrates the vibrant and diverse cultures of the world, one dish at a time.

Suphanee's passion for food and diverse cultures has taken her to many countries around the world, including Istanbul, Berlin, Bangkok, Cairo, Paris, and Prague, to name a few. These experiences have shaped her approach to cooking and inspired her to create a restaurant that offers a global culinary experience.

The story of Royal YUM dates back to 2011 in Dubai when Suphanee, a new mom at the time, was looking to make use of her time at home. Having cooked for her colleagues during her office job, she started offering lunchboxes delivered to offices under the brand Simply YUM. She would cook at home and personally deliver the food to offices, and quickly realized that her customers kept coming back for more. Seeing the potential for a food business, Suphanee had to make a decision. While longing for the camaraderie of colleagues and early morning office coffee, she ultimately chose to make use of her degree from the University of North Texas and pursue a career in the corporate world.

Throughout her following 6 years at BASF, the world's largest chemical company, she consistently performed at the top 5% of the company's global workforce of 150,000 employees. However, Suphanee's passion for food and entrepreneurship remained strong, and she ultimately decided to pursue her dream of owning a restaurant.

After successfully building Thai Ocha from $600k to $1.3m in revenue with a remarkable 27% profit margin, Suphanee sold her majority stake in the business and is now embarking on a new adventure. With a heart full of passion and a lifetime of global experiences, she set her sights on creating something truly special. Enter Royal YUM, a restaurant that celebrates the flavors and cultures of the world. From aromatic spices to bold flavors, each and every dish has been carefully crafted with love and care to create a truly unforgettable dining experience.

The restaurant's commitment to celebrating diversity and international cuisine is exemplified by its recent commission of Sheetal Nepali, a talented student in the College of Visual Art and Design at the University of North Texas, to paint indoor murals. Sheetal's innovative use of texture, color, and her ability to create artwork from her memory and imagination is sure to create a truly unique and unforgettable dining experience for customers.
